1967: Stevie Wonder's "I Was Made To Love Her" is released in the US, where it would climb to #2.

1975: Tony Orlando And Dawn received a Gold record for "He Don't Love You (Like I Love You)". The song was number one in the US for three weeks and one of five million-sellers for the trio. "He Don't Love You" was originally a hit for Jerry Butler in 1960.

1959: "I Only Have Eyes For You" by the six man, Chicago vocal group, The Flamingos, enters the Billboard chart where it will reach #11.

1954: With Big Joe Turner's "Shake, Rattle and Roll" riding high on the Billboard R&B chart, Bill Haley And His Comets enter Decca Records' New York studio to record the same number. Haley's version will enter the Pop chart next August for an amazing 27 week run and rise to #7, becoming the first Rock 'n' Roll tune to sell a million copies.
